Docs and setup

Everything you need to connect AIOS to your CRM, set up consent and messaging, and get your AI agent working. If you get stuck, support is one email away.
What AIOS is
AIOS is an AI team for your business. Once connected, it answers and places calls, replies across your messaging channels, qualifies leads, books appointments on your calendar and follows up, then writes everything back to your CRM so your pipeline stays current without anyone lifting a finger.
Connect your CRM in one click
From your AIOS dashboard, open the connect panel and choose Connect with one click. You will be sent to your CRM to sign in and approve AIOS. After you approve, you land back in the dashboard and the connection is live. There is nothing to copy or paste, and we never see your password.
What we ask access for
AIOS requests only the permissions it needs to do the job you hired it for:
- Contacts: to recognize who it is talking to and keep records up to date.
- Conversations and messages: to read and reply across your channels.
- Calendar: to offer times and book appointments.
- Opportunities, custom fields and tags: to qualify leads and move them through your pipeline.
Prefer manual setup?
Most people connect with one click. If you would rather do it by hand, the connect panel also lets you paste an access token and your account and calendar IDs from your CRM. AIOS verifies it and stores it encrypted in a vault, never in plain text. We ask only for what the agent needs; we do not request access to manage your users or change your account settings.
Before you go live: consent and messaging setup
AIOS calls and messages your contacts on your behalf, which makes you the sender and caller under the law. A few things are yours to set up before your agent starts reaching out.
- Register your business for messaging. Before AIOS sends texts, register your business and each use case for A2P 10DLC. Carriers block texts from unregistered numbers.
- Keep a live opt-in form showing your program name, "Message and data rates may apply", "Message frequency varies", "Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help", and links to your Privacy Policy and Terms. Consent boxes must be optional and not pre-checked.
- Get the consent the law requires before AIOS calls or texts anyone, and prior express written consent for any marketing call or text. Keep your records.
- Calling hours are handled: AIOS only places calls 8am to 9pm in the contact's local time. Some states are stricter, and knowing your state's rules is yours.
- If you turn on instant call-back, AIOS will place an AI voice call to a new lead the moment they come in, within calling hours. Only enable this for leads who have given the consent the law requires.
- Some content is blocked by carriers and by us. See the Acceptable Use Policy before you go live.
AI and call recording
Your agent can be set to say it is an automated AI assistant and that the call is recorded at the start of every call. Calls and messages are recorded and transcribed so the service can work and keep an accurate record. You are responsible for any extra disclosure your state or industry requires, including states that require every person on a call to consent to recording, and states that require telling a person they are speaking with AI. See our Privacy Policy for how recordings are stored.
What happens after you connect
Your agent immediately starts working the way you set it up: greeting people by name when it knows them, answering questions from what it has learned about your business, booking calls, and handing off to a human when needed. Every call and message is logged, and bookings and lead updates flow straight into your CRM.
Staying connected
AIOS keeps the connection alive automatically, so you do not need to reconnect periodically. If you ever want to disconnect, you can do it from the same panel in one click, and your data stays yours.
Disconnecting and your data
You can disconnect in one click and AIOS stops writing to your CRM right away. Data already stored in AIOS is kept and deleted according to your plan's retention settings and our Privacy Policy. To export or delete your data, email [email protected].
Your responsibilities
Because AIOS calls and messages your contacts on your behalf, you are responsible for having the consent the law requires before it reaches out, and for honoring opt-outs. See our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy for the details. We suppress numbers we receive opt-outs for, across calls and texts, but the consent obligation is yours.
For developers and updates
The external endpoints (lead capture, the embeddable agent widget, and CRM connect) are documented in our API reference, with the machine-readable spec at /api-reference/openapi.json. New features and fixes are tracked on our What's new page.
